What some call the “most wonderful time of the year”, retail workers call absolute hell – the Holiday Season. That’s right, it’s Christmas music and massive sales the moment Halloween ends, with all the extended hours and chaos to back it up, and it sucks. Hardcore.
Now, let’s start off by saying I actually love retail work in principle: it isn’t the job itself that’s the issue, it’s all the associated baggage that comes with it. I wrote about these annoyances last year, but I thought it might be fitting to discuss some of these things in detail in the upcoming weeks. If you have never worked retail before, it might be a great bit of information for you, and if you do or have worked this field, then you will know exactly what I am talking about.
Beyond that, however, is just the general stress of this time of year – that’s part of why I wanted to crank out so much content in October – November and December will not be super productive months for me, sadly, on the Xadara front, and I hate that because I love writing for my readers (yes, I know you are out there, and I do appreciate you.)
I have ideas on things to do to keep productive on the quick, but it’s going to be tricky. Many more quick content shares, shorter articles, and less in-depth content on a whole, with more gaps in between posts.
I really don’t have much else to say beyond that – this post speaks for itself.
