It’s the final month of the year, with all the holiday chaos to go along with it. Of course, a new month means more games with gold, and in this case we have what looks like an alright selection. Let’s take a look!
Xbox One
Sleeping Dogs
Sleeping Dogs, an evolution on the 2000’s era True Crime game series, is generally well liked, and getting the “definitive edition” of this open world action game for free should be pretty fun.
Outlast
Outlast is a survival horror game that, well, I just can’t tell you much about. It looks good, but that’s all: it looks good. Who knows how it plays? I am a little tired of the glut of horror themed games this latter half of the year, when these all would have done much better during October, but eh, it is what it is. It might be a fun game, but I just don’t know.
Xbox 360
Outland
Outland looks like a fun 2D action platformer. These videos never say much about the games, but this might be fun for the every once in a while play. Ya never know.
Burnout Paradise
Burnout is an amazing series, to be sure, but Burnout Paradise was always seen as the black sheep of the series. While it doesn’t look too bad, and from what I’ve heard it plays okay, it just isn’t quite the same racing and crashing experience as the previous games in the series, at least from what I have read. I look forward to checking the game out, though, either way.
That’s that, another set of games to enjoy on your Xbox 360 and Xbox One. As a reminder, if you own an Xbox One, these 360 games will be playable on the console, so there is no reason not to try them out!
