YouTube is getting to a point where many content creators are just plain sick of it. There are as many problems as there are people who produce content for the site, it would seem, and many people are finally letting their opinions be known.
A much needed vent.

In this case, we have Kim Justice, a YouTuber who you will see more of here as time passes – she does some amazing videos on vintage computers and the gaming scene in the UK in the 80’s. Of course, that’s not good enough for some people, for some kinds of people just have to cause problems no matter what.
Sure, this is typical internet trolling by and large, which gets old fast, but then you have the additional fact that Kim is transgender. That’s an issue of contention for some people, for some reason, and even though Kim’s videos have nothing to do with the subject (save for rare cases, and ignoring the video branding which hints at the transgender nature of the host), people still seem to feel that harassing her based on this fact is something they should do, because, internet, I guess. Still, people will leave their typical hate-filled comments, downvote videos, and unsubscribe, just because of this fact, even though it has nothing to do with the content of the videos. Makes a ton of sense, right? Yeah, didn’t think so.
Whats more though is the nature of everything to be taken seriously. The entire spirit of entertainment is off, it would seem, and Kim does a pretty nice job summing up her thoughts on some recent issues on YouTube (ones I just care not to get into.) Can’t make a joke without people thinking your going to be the cause of World War 7, now can you?
Finishing up, she covers the flavor of the week nature of the site (referencing those stupid “1000 degree knife” videos that are a thing right now) and bringing up the well-demonstrated “might makes right” phenomena, in this case more subscribers means more correct opinions, something that doesn’t even make sense since, as I’ve said before, opinions can’t be right or wring – they simply are opinions.
Enough of me giving my thoughts on what she said, though, why don’t you check it out for yourself?
