Time for something completely different in my “what’s to come” kinds of entries. Instead of talking about my plans, I’m instead going to, by request, discuss what my friend Prince Watercress has planned for 2018. Yes, he actually requested that I write this article to help promote what he does.
People who follow what I do on YouTube, or who pay careful attention to some articles here on Xadara will recognize the name – he’s been probably the best supporter to my crazy ideas, and a good friend. He and I both of course like similar things, but also have differences in our interests, as all friends do. Of course, like me, he also does videos on YouTube and writes about what he enjoys, and for 2018 he has some big plans, which he wanted me to share here! Given that he is a part of the broader identity of “Xadara” me sharing his plans only makes sense, beyond it being a nice thing to do for a friend who has also supported everything as he has!
So, just what does Prince Watercress have planned for 2018?
First off, as far as YouTube, he has new content on his Let’s Play YouTube channel. He’s taken some breaks in 2017 but for 2018, he’s planning to get things back in gear. His Let’s plays also function somewhat as walkthroughs, where he discusses just how to get through a game, as well as showing it off and giving commentary as he plays. Pretty cool stuff, if Let’s Plays are your kinds of thing!

Also of note, he’s going to continue with his gaming blog entries, which will include him doing textual recaps of his previous let’s plays. He’s already started on one of those, and through 2018 will do more, so be on the lookout for that too!

On the other end of things, Prince Watercress is very heavy into wrestling – it is to him what space and rocketry is to me, something he really knows inside out. That being said, as you could expect, he also blogs about wrestling on its own dedicated blog. Interestingly, he actually goes back and does thorough recaps of both classic events as well as covering current events. It’s actually rather incredible how much content he puts on the wrestling blog, alongside his gaming content.

To give you an idea on how much content he produced in 2017, he covered effectively every mainstream wrestling event from the 1997 Great American Bash to the beginning of 2000. He covered Impact Wrestling, Ring Of Honor TV and the WWE events as they happened this past year, and when it’s all said and done produced nearly 1000 wrestling recaps this past year!
As for 2018, he has no plans of slowing down – continued current coverage with retro recaps and continued bonus weekend recaps – he’s currently working on 1997 recaps for “WWF Shotgun Saturday Night” for example.
I wish I had the energy to produce as much detailed content as he does. If you happen to like wrestling, then honestly you owe it to yourself to check out his work. It’s just that substantial. As you can see, on a whole, 2018 is going to be a hell of a year for him !
Lastly, for the hell of it, might as well plug his twitter account! Go check it out.
