Following up from the rather massive Microsoft / Xbox presentation, here we have the full Sony presentation at E3 2018.
Now, I paid zero attention to this presentation. Why? Because I don’t have a Playstation 4, and the gist of what Sony offers doesn’t interest me. That simple. There are some cool games I would want to play exclusive to the Sony ecosystem, sure, but at the rate I actually get around to playing most games I’m doing better by simply avoiding the money pit all together by having one of each system. It isn’t a matter of fanboyism, it’s a matter of me having already chosen a gaming ecosystem and being economical about things.
That being said, from what I gathered via Twitter and the like, Sony had a rather poor show this year. That’s right, even many of the fanboys have said this years presentation wasn’t that good, and many noted technical difficulties during it.
There were games that caught people’s attention, though – of note The Last of Us 2 got announced, as well as a remake of Resident Evil 2, which I know many will be excited for. Of course, that’s a Capcom produced game that isn’t even exclusive to the Playstation 4, so does it really count? That alone is a topic worth another article… but I digress.
On a whole people do seem generally happy with what was presented by Sony this year, so, take it for what you will. I’m passive about it, for the above mentioned reasons.
Anyway, if you wanted to check out the full Sony presentation, here ya go!
