What’s Coming For August 2018 On Xadara

July was a much better month. We’ve been through over half of 2018 with somewhat lackluster article rates, but the past week has been much better and, barring a small gap, July was actually a better month than previous for “getting things back to normal around here.”

This is one of those times I kind of question why I do these monthly updates, but then I remember there’s always the chance this might be someones first look at the site, or maybe someone who sees my posts but doesn’t know what I’m “all about” on here will see this and get a better idea of what to expect in the next 30 or so days.

That being said, I’m still working to expand what I do, but slightly narrow the focus – varied topics covered, but with a bit more focus than previously, if that makes sense. Just trust me on this one, a few previous articles will explain exactly what’s up and why that’s the case.

As for what actually is planned for this month, I’m hoping to do the first entries in the BBC Computer Literacy Project article series quite soon. Season 2 of the Angry Video Game Nerd review series is wrapping up with just 1 last episode to go of Season 2, followed by the review of the whole season. I’m not planning to waste any time before getting started on season 3, and hope to have that released on a more normal schedule. No guarantees, of course. We’ll see what happens.

August proves to be a slightly less eventful month in space events, and while there will of course be new launches and missions to cover, and the occasional other news to cover I just don’t see space posts as taking over for August. That gives me more freedom to work on other things. Fun things. The backlog, some other odd one-off articles, and whatever else might strike me as worth throwing an article out about.

As discussed before, updates to the way content is organized are happening. Some of these have already started, and will continue while I also clean up some older content on the site, and change a few other aspects, as well as add new things. This will go hand in hand with a few other expansions to the site that may prove fun, or may become an absolute waste of time.

We’ll see what happens, won’t we?

More to come, as always.
