Oh, it’s the first of the month. Might as well get this article written because, why not, right?
August wasn’t a bad month, I’d say. The highlight was, of course, the Parker Solar Probe launch, which was a hell of a show. I got quite a bit of progress done on fleshing out the site more, as I’ve been wanting to do for quite a while but never gotten to, and kept a steady for the most part writing schedule. Side projects have continued a little behind what I was hoping they would, but all in all, a steady return to more regular writing.
With September I’ve got another 30 day month to try to return to my “one article per day” goal. I may make a mistake somewhere down the line, sure, but if I have days with more than 1 entry in them, they will balance out.
Beyond that key goal, you already know – backlog, backlog, and more backlog. I’m hoping tonight/tomorrow to prepare a few long overdue entries and share them when I need a quick, easy article published – this will help space out the more regular content which I’m hoping to make a little more steady.
On the topic of regular content, I’ve got the basics for the BBC Computer Literacy Project article series ready – I just have to actually get started on that. It should be a nice break from so many other things I’ve had going on the past few months. I’m hoping to increase my writing rate for AVGN episode reviews, as well as start on another review project. I’ve also, of course, got a more recent backlog of things to write about which, like the older backlog entries, I’ll probably try in the next few days to take an earnest attempt at getting more of these knocked out as well.
Or, I probably won’t, knowing my history with this sort of thing. Who knows. We’ll see what happens.
Right, that’s all, more to come tomorrow.. and the next day.. and the next day.. and the next day…
