Cinemassacre – The AtmosFearic Garage of the Supernatural

Here we have part 2 of the History of Haunted Tours, “The AtmosFearic Garage of the Supernatural.” Yes, it’s as corny as you can imagine, in a good way, of course. This was James’ last haunted house and as such it was not only his best (at least, we can presume so) but he also clearly put the most effort and energy into it, not just in actually making it and running it, but even doing the guided tour video you see here.

Yeah, his voice acting is pretty amateurish, and he pays homage to the Twilight Zone in a bit more blatantly than maybe he should have – whatever, it’s his haunted house, he can run it, however, he wants to and do pretty much whatever. The spirit is there, and I’m sure for those who got to experience it it was awesome!

It’s pretty awesome to see, though, a 17-18-year-old James Rolfe doing something he loved for the last time. This was all fun for him, it wasn’t for money, it wasn’t to get famous, it’s just what he did. That kind of passion tends to die out in people over time, which is a shame, but that’s how things go.

As an aside, something I love is the fact that in many AVGN episodes you can see these same props from the haunted houses being used – the fact that James has kept these props for over 20 years is amazing.

Right, enough talk, on to the AtmosFearic Garage of the Supernatural! Remember, if the bats don’t eat you, the spiders might, so no turning back!

Enjoy!
