This is going to be a quick one, but I wanted to update readers who may be interested (all 3 of them) that I did become aware of a few links in my Bits and Bytes article series becoming broken. I had sourced links from 2 different YouTube accounts and one (Canadian Toast, I believe was the name) seems to be gone now – at the very least the Bits and Bytes episodes were taken down. This left episodes 1, 4, and 6 broken for I don’t know how long.
I just updated those and everything is back to being watchable here on Xadara, alongside my commentary regarding the episodes.
It’s actually a pretty neat little series from 1983, and if you like old computers it is totally worth checking out! It’s a (very) Canadian show which discussed what computers are, how they work, and what you could do with them (in 1983) in very down to Earth terms, yet still be interesting to the more tech minded among us, if only in that it showed how these machines really were in their day.
For the heck of it, I’ll link all the articles on the 12 part series down below. Enjoy!
