No, really, I *may* have ordered one, as I’m not sure if the order will actually be processed!
As a part of Amazon Prime day I decided to go ahead and get a PlayStation Classic – they were only $20, and for that I’d buy one as an emulation box, at the very least, if not just for the fact that I do like the look of these “mini” consoles (god I hate that term…)
Anyway, I say may because I had to work that day, and as such was a little late in placing my order. Best Buy also had them for $20 but that wasn’t an option for me given how my day was going, so order from Amazon on the work account I did, and while it let me place the order the item was “temporarily out of stock.” Now, from what I understand once more come in the order will be processed at the $20 price and everything will be fine. It’s just a question of how long that will be, I guess.
What I do know is when the damn thing comes in I’m going to do some heavy testing using every single power supply I can find in my house to see what will and won’t power it, as my article about the PlayStation Classic not having a Power Supply, which was written before the console was released, is still getting heavy hits I want to put an end to all the confusion, at least where I can help out.
That’s really about that. Nothing special in this article, just that little update that may prove interesting.
What amazes me is that in all these months since that hunk of junk was released people are still confused as to how to power it. I’ve kind of lost faith in humanity a bit due to that one…
