Much like the previous “behind the scenes” for the Magnavox Odyssey episode, I’ve got a few “behind the scenes” clips for the Bugs Bunny’s Crazy Castle AVGN episode to share.
First off we have one of those “the making of” segments which many people enjoy. This shows the process of creating the episode, as it was quite the major effort. From details as basic as the reason for the episode and it being the way it is, to how various effects were done (such as the somewhat impressive couch destruction) to problems faced during the filming to pretty much anything else of note, this 12 minute clip is a fun watch if you ever wondered just was involved in creating this pretty chaotic episode.
Next up, a more subdued video of outtakes from the episode. Mistakes happen, this is a given, and it’s always nice when they get released, letting us in on the human side of the creative people we love. Of course, most of these mistakes are simply James trying to deliver the complicated and quite detailed expletive descriptions that, by this time, was becoming common in episodes. Watching him mess up and laugh about is just great and shows for as much work was put into these episodes they still had fun making them.
