A new month means a new update on just what I’ve got planned for the next 4 weeks or so here. Not the most interesting content, unless you’re a particular type of person who really likes this kind of “what the person is thinking” content but hell, it wouldn’t feel right starting the month without it!
That, and this is great filler. Yeah, I won’t even hide it — these just keep my publishing rate up every month. Hah!
I’d do well to start with just what I was able to do, and not do, over October. I was successful in breaking my publishing schedule into Monday through Friday patterns, freeing up my weekend. Cool. I was not successful in my long-wanted attempt at covering episodes of the much loved show King of the Hill. I thought it would be fun, but nope — it wound up being more a chore than it was worth. Still, it was an experience and I learned from it, so there’s that.
That being said, I’ve still got things planned that I have yet to start on… or finish… some of them being plans from forever ago. Yeah, backlog this, lazy that, procrastination this, don’t feel like doing that. I’ve always got things to do, I just need to find time and motivation to do them.
November, however, is the beginning of the shopping season, and this means I’m going to be busy with work. The good news is this means more games to buy, more games to sell, more things to repair, more things to refurbish, and more money to be made.
The bad news (or good, depending on how some of you may look at it) is that I won’t have as much time to write — or will have to devote more time to it than other things.
Of final note is the fact I’m overdue on getting quite a few commentary pieces out, and odds are they may or may not be things some people won’t exactly like. Still, with my scheduling plan going smooth and some more relaxed and fun ideas in mind, I think November will be a pretty good month.
We’ll see what happens.
Oh, one last thing… I never did anything “spooky” for Halloween / October and I hate that. :'(
