Now that the insanity of this past week (including Black Friday) is over, just what do I have planned for December 2019?
Well, to start off with, I’m going to bloody rest. This past week has been non-stop work for me in one form or another – I cranked out more articles than normal for Xadara on top of working more than usual at the day job, including on Thanksgiving (my choice, don’t worry, I wasn’t doing anything else important and we needed to get things done) and all in all I’m just on the “okay” end of exhausted. Burnt out would be the better word, pushing myself to my own limits of tedium to repair what I could for us to sell and get all the odds and ends of my role up there squared away for today’s event which, honestly, wasn’t as good as it was in previous years. Ah well, these things happen.
Anyway, beyond that it should be business as usual come the first Monday in the month. I’ve got nothing more special planned than any other month. I certainly will be done with Angry Video Game Nerd Season 4 episode reviews by then, and may take a small break from that before I start on Season 5.
Moving on, a few side projects I’ve been delayed from starting up by a bit of internet chaos recently are on the agenda, as well as an all around update on some changes in my hobbies which will soon be showing themselves around here. Should be cool stuff.
Also, personally, I want to take more time to just game and relax. I’ve not done that in many months, and recently decided to pick up a copy of South Park: The Stick of Truth and make my way through that as I find time. A fun little game, as (somewhat) old as it is, and I’m enjoying it for what it is.
Honestly, the stressful part of the year is kind of over for me. Things will be a bit more busy at the shop, but nothing too crazy. If anything this means repairs and trade ins of game consoles may pick up, which means more things for me to work on, be it simple refurbishment to sell or repairs that only I can seem to do.
You ever try getting an Xbox One that’s had a major hard drive issue to take a new hard drive? It’s insane. Maybe I’ll write about it sometime.
Anyway, there’s the update for what’s coming this next month. I feel like November was a damn fine month here on Xadara, and I’m hoping to carry this success over into December!
Catch you on the 2nd!
