New month, new year, new set of games with the Games with Gold program. Of course I’ve got take a look at them and give my take on the offerings, for what it’s worth – that’s been a damn near 5 year tradition now and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon!
That said, let’s look at the video and the list:
Little Nightmares, now here’s a game I recall seeing somewhere but I can’t quite place it. It caught my attention enough to remember it, at least, and it looks like a pretty creepy good time.
Deadrising will be nice, as a remaster of the original game which I have but, as you would expect from me, have yet to play. I don’t mind having original releases and re-releases of games, so this will go into the library just as fine as Tomb Raider did back a few years ago.
Moving on the King of Fighters XIII, well, I can’t complain there – I like the series and while I’m not the biggest fighting game fan I certainly won’t turn down a free one. Sure beats the hell out of another racing game, right?
Lastly we have Breakdown. Another first person game where someone has crazy powers but doesn’t know what’s going on with him. Okay, yeah, it may be fun, who knows.
All in all, a decent looking start to the year, and if the peanut gallery is anyone to ask (they aren’t but we look at that anyway) the opinions there are generally positive.
Till next week!
