It’s just about 6PM Central time for me as I begin writing this, and the year 2020 is coming to a close.
Normally I’d take a bit of time to do a retrospective of the past year but, as we all know, it’s been a bit of a mess, to say the least. Even I felt the effects during the Summer and wrote quite a bit less than I would have normally, but it was for good reason. We all need a little time away from things, but that’s all I’ll say on that for now.
What I will say is, instead of those normal end of year articles being forced out right now, I’m just going to relax a bit and enjoy the arbitrary passage of time from one sequential digit to another.
I’ve got plenty to say, but I just don’t feel like pushing myself now, so close to the end of 2020. Yep, 6 hours to go and I’ll just take them for all they are worth.
2021 is going to be an interesting one around here, but more to come on that, as always.
